Miyabi Shinohara (紫野原 雅, Shinohara Miyabi) is a sommelier apprentice, friend and teacher of Shizuku Kanzaki.

Personality[]
Even though Miyabi is an apprentice sommelier, her knowledge rivals that of a full-fledged sommelier. But while her knowledge is vast, her skills still needs training. She is fascinated by wine and how the same wine can taste different.
Plot[]
Miyabi was working as a sommelier at a restaurant. They received an order for an expensive wine, but the budged was ten times smaller, who she guessed the customer was confusing the wine with a similar one. She brought that wine to the customer and as she served it, he was disappointed, telling the wine was bad. She disagreed, but as she was given a taste, she realized it wasn't the same as described. Shizuku Kanzaki who was on the table, then took a decanter and sipped the wine in it with great mastery. The man ended up liking the wine, but as he was insulted by Shizuku, he left. Miyabi was amazed by him and wanted Shizuku to came back and also thank him for the help.
Shizuku returned a few days later with the news of his father death and his will, Miyabi and her teacher made Shizuku drink wine for the first time and he enjoyed it. As they talked and tasted wine, Shizuku decided to make Miyabi his teacher and to help him win over Issei Tomine and keep his father wine collection.

Miyabi is a feminine Japanese given name. Miyabi means 'courtliness' and 'refinement'.
Shinohara literally means bamboo grass-plain. It is a Japanese surname
