Yutaka Kanzaki (かんざき ゆたか, Kanzaki Yutaka) was a famous critic of wine as well as french food. He was also the father of Shizuku Kanzaki who had adopted Issei Tomine.

Yutaka was an older man with short hair a beard with mustaches.

Personality[]

Yutaka became a renowned wine critic carving his name into wine history thanks to his incredible descriptive imagination.

Plot[]

Yutaka was training Shizuku Kanzaki since he was young into wine tasting. He was giving him taste variety of things, knives, different grape juices and many other things, but never gave him wine or talked about wine. As a result Shizuku ended up hating wine.

As he had pancreas cancer, he kept it hidden from his son until he died. A week before his death, he adopted Issei Tomine. He left a will that asks Issei or Shizuku to guess which are his "Twelve Apostles" along with the very best wine in his collection, the so-called "Drops of God." They had a year and the one who guesses it, will inherit his wine collection worth 2 billion yen.

Etymology[]

Yutaka is a masculine Japanese given name. Yutaka means "abundance".
